Volterra kom ons bezoeken voor een onvergetelijke Toscaanse vakantie! Onze boerderij ligt in de prachtige en fascinerende heuvels rond Volterra. Rondom is het diepgroen in het voorjaar, goudgeel in de zomer en met veel bruintinten in de herfst en winter.

Er is hier zoveel te ontdekken - Volterra met 3000 jaar geschiedenis, van de Etrusken tot de Romeinen via de Middeleeuwen tot aan de moderne tijd is nog steeds een levendige stad in het hart van Toscane.

U kunt er wandelen, fietsen of paardrijden, maar ook gewoon lekker relaxen of bekende stadjes in de buurt bezoeken, zoals San Gimignano (15 km),

Siena (40 km),

Pisa (60km),

of Florence (70 km).

Onze boerderij biedt eenvoudige maar comfortabele gastvrijheid in gezellige en zorgvuldig gerestaureerde kamers en appartementen in een echte landelijke sfeer. Van primair belang is dat we ons land bewerken met biologische methoden – de basis voor slow food.

We laten u graag proeven van onze typisch lokale producten , natuurlijk verkregen met biologische methoden, zoals olijfolie, wijn, groenten en speciale kip, evenals lamsvlees van het beroemde schaap "la Pomarancina".

“We had a nice apartment/house. The rooms were big enough for 4 people and all the necessary facilities were present. It is nicely situated on the top of a hill with splendid views over the neighbouring hills and fields. It is easily accessible via a short dirt road. It is very calm and quiet. They also have a nice swimming pool to cool down after a hot day. Angela and her family are really nice. They treated us with local wine and salumi. It is a very good place to discover the area of Volterra (San Gimignano, Certaldo, Siena) but you can also reach easily Firenze, Pisa, the coast, the Chianti region, etc.”

“Grande appartement avec une cuisine bien équipée. Il reste bien frais à l'intérieur la nuit qui est très confortable. Les alentours sont merveilleux et on se trouve dans un calme absolu.
