“Superbe moment au calme pour explorer la Toscane”

L'hebergement était mieux que ce que nous avions imaginé, de l'espace, propre avec des climatisations fonctionnelles et une cuisine équipée. Les extérieurs sont beaux et typiques et la piscine est grande avec des pergolas ombragées pour vraiment profiter sans brûler.

Nous avions prévu de visitier Florence qq jours en partant en transport en commun. Cela a été une horreur, les bus ne passent pas aux horaires prévu, et bien souvent ne passent pas du tout (le 31 par exemple), bilan minimum 1h d'attente aller/retour. Bref, prevoyez d'y aller en voiture...

“A great Tuscan get away.”

This was a great way to spend two weeks in Tuscany. It is a great jumping off place to visit Tuscany’s many hill towns. It is a short drive to Florence. Having air conditioning in the bedrooms was a real plus. Luigi and Claudia are great hosts. This is the best place we stayed in our two months in Europe.

Can’t think of any real negatives. The WiFi was spotty sometimes, but hey! You are in the middle of wine country.

“Peaceful, Lovely, Quintessential Tuscany”

Absolutely adored this place. Spent several busy, long days in Rome and was looking forward to some peace, quiet and connection in Tuscany, near Florence, but not in. This beautifully kept spacious retreat in simple, understated & comfortable apartments brought us back to the basics of just being and not always doing. We took Luigi up on the cooking classes and Maurizio and his wife Julia were awesome! A memory we will have forever…my teens and twenty somethings swung on the children’s swings, I meandered and took photos of the surrounding countryside at sunrise…it was a quick, incredible experience. I love that we had a car and got to drive the beautiful off the beaten path road! It’s only 15 minutes from Florence and the town of Grassina is precious. Will never forget and highly recommend!

“Schöne Wohnung in schöner Landschaft”

Die Anlage und unsere Wohnung waren sehr schön, die Landschaft herum war traumhaft, typisch toskanisch,, der Pool oberhalb der Wohnungen war groß genug zum Schwimmen und mit einem tollen Blick auf die toskanisches Landschaft. Die Lage war gut, relativ nah an Florenz, und das nahe Dorf Grassina mit Restaurants und kleinem Laden war gut zu Fuß zu erreichen in ca. 1,5 km Entfernung.

Negativ waren nur die vielen Mücken, die trotz Moskitonetzen vor den Fenstern in der Wohnung waren.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Florence grace au bus. Les maisons sont spacieuses et bien agencées. La piscine est un vrai plus

Suite aux orages, des infiltratins d'eau ont eu lieu dans notre logement, mais le ménage a été fait à notre demande, en revanche le wifi n'a pas été remis de la semaine, ce qui arrive souvent à la campagne.

Très beaux appartements dans un ensemble très bien restauré. Parfaitement situé au coeur de la Toscane, tout en restant au calme, au coeur de la campagne. On voit des biches se promener tout près!

Le calme L'environnement Le logement très propre avec un plateau d'accueil très utilie quand on arrive tard (café, biscottes, confiture ....) L'extrême gentillesse de Luigi le propriétaire et de son équipe, toujours prompts à conseiller une bonne table, les villages alentours à visiter ...

Le site est magnifique avec les biches qui apparaissent le matin et le soir dans la campagne Toscane. Il est par contre à 1 km environ de l'arrêt de bus pour Florence et une belle cote vous attend pour remonter ! il faut donc être un peu sportif ou avoir une voiture. En ce qui nous concerne, nous avons utilisé tous les moyens pour découvrir la région : vélo, Vespa et voiture et nos pieds !

Cadre (calme, esthétique et chaleureux), proximité de Florence, accueil de l'équipe, espaces communs (jardin, piscine,...).

Trop d'appartements donc de monde peut-etre...

Charmant lieu de repos, à 20mn du centre de Florence et des vignes de Chianti. Cadre accueillant avec une grande liberté lorsque les voyageurs sont discrets comme nous.... Pour ceux qui aiment authenticité des vieilles pierres, des lézards et de l'Italie, ca vaut le coup !

Le mariage

Vérifier que le lieu n'est pas loué pour un quelconque évènement. Nous avons demandé au propriétaire de faire un geste sur le prix des 2 nuits pendant lesquelles nous n'avons pu dormir, il a dit ne rien pouvoir faire...très très décévant

Beautiful traditional accommodation, absolutely spotlessly clean with everything you could need on hand. Air conditioning worked really well although the apartment was a good temperature without it being on despite it being incredibly hot outside. Pool area was lovely, again very clean and lots of available loungers to sit on and look out over the stunning views. Playpark area was great for our 2 year old son and kept him entertained. Having free access to the laundry facilities was also great for us travelling with a young son - there were two washing machines as well as a dedicated area with washing line and pegs to dry your clothes. We stayed in apartment 4 'Il Frantoio' which had one large bedroom, a separate shower room and huge living area with an additional bed in. The kitchen was very well equipped and the tap water was suitable for drinking. It was perfect for us. It overlooked the Tuscan countryside and we loved sitting on the patio area on an evening with a glass of wine. The location was ideal for us - a short drive to Florence and around a 15 minutes walk into the village of Grassina. Finally, all of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend the Borgo Bottaia for a stay in Tuscany.

The only negative was that the wifi was quite poor. It would be brilliant if the office also sold a couple of essential items such as bread and milk.

The office sells some delicious wines at an incredibly reasonable price.

“Wonderful surrounds even in winter and close to Grassina for bus to Florence”

We had the largest apartment for 6 and there was plenty of room. Close to Grassina and the bus to Florence, and easy to get to local villages by car. Onsite parking for free. Good kitchen, warm and spacious rooms, bathroom for every room. On-site washing machine but no dryer.

Wi-fi for the teens was not good unless you were outside in the cold (but this is not necessarily a bad thing). Tiny tiny TV that we didn't use.

Take some time to enjoy the scenery from the balcony or front terrace. The bus to Florence, from Grassina, is easy and cheap to use and much better than trying to drive.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. It was an easy walk to the nearby town (Grassina) and a 30 minute bus trip to Florence. The pool and pool areas were quite nice. The outdoor tables and chairs were perfect for dining out and the view was spectacular. It was nice and quiet, but with birds and wildlife to keep it interesting. It was very easy to dine in, with markets available in Grassina just down the road and a full kitchen facility, or enjoy eating out in Florence.

Can't think of any.

Make sure to check the bus schedule if you're staying in Florence late. The taxis do run from Florence to Grassina if you miss the last bus. Check the market schedule, as they have a lovely market in Grassina. Don't miss the wine shop in Grassina where you can try locally made wine. Two great restaurants we tried in Florence were La Giostra and L'osteria di Giovanni.

La gentillesse du personnel, notamment le propriétaire comme le disaient tous les avis. L'appartement spacieux, bien équipé avec superbe vue sur les collines toscanes. L'aire de jeux pour les petits enfants (pratique)

Un peu excentré de Florence (30 mn en bus à partir de Grassina, mais qui arrive toutes les 20 mn) et du centre de Grassina (15-20 mn à pieds avec une pente au retour!). Mais c'est peut-être le prix de la tranquillité et des magnifiques paysages. Mieux vaut tout de même louer une voiture pour visiter la région.

Y aller à partir du printemps. Nous y étions en hiver, c'était très bien mais je pense qu'on peut encore plus profiter des ballades et de la piscine lorsqu'il fait plus doux.

Appartement à partager avec un couple d'amis, avec chacun sa salle de bain et coin salon pour apéritif convivial. Ancien hameau réhabilité en gîte superbe, rénovation exceptionnelle en pleine nature, dommage de ne pas profiter de la piscine le temps ne s'y prêtant plus en octobre!. Cadeau bienvenue de deux bouteilles de vin, un petit plus délicat... À conseiller! Surtout pour famille avec enfants du fait de l'espace de jeux.

N'en vois pas! internet seulement à la réception mais normal vu la situation. Ce n'est donc pas un point négatif!

En dehors des points célèbres à ne pas manquer, le marché rempli de victuailles locales et surtout l'étage où l'on peut déguster des produits choisis et cuits sur place!

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans une des chambres. Climatisation bruyante lors de la mise en fonctionnement dans les autres chambres, beaucoup de moustiques.

Le Chianti vendu par le propriétaire est d'un très bon rapport qualité / prix.

“Un petit bourg toscan paradisiaque à quelques minutes de Florence”

Une belle propriété, magnifiquement bien restaurée. 15 appartement organisés en un petit bourg, des terrasses partout et avec des vues multiples. Un piscine vraiment belle et conviviale, avec un espace jacuzzi. Chaque appartement semble avoir son propre caractère. Le notre était vraiment magnifique, une architecture rustique et soignée à la fois. Très spacieux. magnifiquement bien entretenu, et propre. L'un des points positifs est qu'il est à 20 mn de Florence, soit en voiture, soit en bus depuis Grassina. De plus la sortie d'Autoroute Firenze Sud permet d'aller partout en Toscane en 1h environ. Un autre point intéressant, vue la taille, les enfants peuvent trouver facilement des amis autour de la piscine ou sur la "terrasse wi-fi" l'endroit où tout le monde se retrouve pour capter internet. Enfin, l'acceuil de Luigi et Alice est vraiment très chaleureux.

Les point négatifs sont vraiment mineurs. Les climatisations, qui sont relativement bien intégrées, font quand même un souffle qui peut être gênant le soir, car l'endroit est très calme. C'est gênant quand c'est celle du voisin qui donne sur la terrasse. Certains se plaignent du manque de wifi, mais ça fait aussi du bien de couper un peu, et internet est accessible sur une terrasse à côté de l’accueil. Quant aux moustiques, il y en a comme partout mais rien de dramatique.

Il est préférable de réserver longtemps à l'avance. Tous les appartements sont bien et ont chacun leurs avantages. Luigi est de bons conseils. A l'arrivée, il y a de quoi faire un premier petit déjeuner, mais il vaut mieux prévoir de faire les courses rapidement surtout si vous arrivez le week-end. Il est possible de réserver des appartements avec des amis et de s'organiser pour que les appartements soient regroupées dans une partie du bourg. Pour ceux qui veulent une ferme, il faut savoir que ce n'est pas plus une ferme, mais c'est un vrai paradis où on a du mal à partir.

Las casas son muy bonitas y el entorno muy agradable. Muy completas a nivel de menaje y en buenas condiciones. Ideal para vacaciones con niños porque pueden correr y jugar sin peligro.Piscina ideal para relajarse después de dia de excursión.Buen punto para visitar la zona de Chianti y Florencia.

Falta de labavajillas.Muchos mosquitos.

Buen sitio para realizar rutas por la Toscana. El propietario nos aconsejó muy bien sobre restaurantes, rutas y bodegas. No os olvideis repelente de mosquitos.

Les propriétaires sont très attentifs et courtois. Notre location était grande et agréable, dotée d'air conditionné ce qui n'est pas négligeable en août ! La piscine à débordement est de taille confortable. Très agréable pour les enfants ! Un petit côté village...

Réservez les visites à Florence sur Internet en amont , cela évite de faire la queue car il y a beaucoup de touristes en été. Je recommande le musée de l'académie et le musée des offices

Nous étions dans le logement LOGGIA, bien situé face au vallon. Bon confort des literies,sanitaires bien. Une belle piscine avec belle herbe autour.

Equipement cuisine très sommaire, bouilloire électrique minuscule, peu d'ustensiles. Pas de possiblité de pendre des vêtements dans les chambres.

L'accès n'est pas forcément simple à trouver, en particulier de nuit, environ 15 km de Firenze avec des rues qui tortillonnent beaucoup, le charme de la découverte... Demander des précisions sur la situation du logement dans la propriété, plusieurs partagent une cour semi-fermée sans vue dégagée. Demander si possible un logement qui donne sur le vallon, vue dégagée, pour 4 nous avions La Loggia très bien. Le nécessaitre pour petit déjeuner est bien agréable.

Large apartment (melo) very clean, amazing pool area. Views were breathtaking.

We did not have a car and Grassina is a sleepy town so bring food and drinks from florence.

We did this without a car. It was a 20 min walk to the bus and 40 min to center of florence, bus every 30 minutes at least. We took a cab to get there from train station, which is recommended by me to bring luggage and food. Restaurant and co-op in town but 20 min walk and italia hours so prepare if you don't have transportation and stock up on what you need! Take a day to enjoy this place! We had plans to go go go and decided to stay put a day and enjoy. It was our best time of the 2 week trip!

L'antenne Wi-Fi est à la réception et les murs des logements sont épais... Pas de réseau depuis l'appatement ("Il Melo").

Si l'on est là, on est sans doute venu en voiture. Mais si c'est Florence (que l'on visite à pied) qui vous intéresse, un bus fréquent s'y rend depuis la place du village. Il arrive en 20 minutes au coeur de la ville, pour EUR 1,20.

Luigi, the oowner, was most pleasnt and extremely helpful in every way eg picking up a medical perscription, helping with car problems, making phone calls, reccommending restaurants,calling taxis,dealing with our questions as they appeared. He was availabe at the farm house every day from 8a.m. to 8 p.m. The weathe was warm ;so he kept he pool open long after closing time. We were greeted with bottles of wine and given a bottle of Grappa the evening before our departure.

We disovered that the wifi worked best when we were outside.

Very nice places to walk around the farm house. Small town of Grassina a short walk from farmhouse -Firenze 2598.Beautiful swimming in lovely ,clean pool. Very near to wine road leading through Greve. Chianti to Siena. Endless supplies of Rosemary, Arugola and Bayleaves for cooking dinner at home. Plenty of restaurants and pizzerias in Grassina and one very nice one near Firenze 2598. Ask Luigi. Very quiet, peacefull surrounding with many places to sit among flowering plants and enjoy the view og Tuscany.Go by foot into Grassina. It is a pretty, short walk.

les lieux, les gens, l'hospitalité et le confort. Tout y est. Un accueil chaleureux, un site exceptionnel, des appartements hyper sympas et des touristes respectueux du calme des lieux. Rien à redire...

Je ne serai pas originale, mais l'internet qui ne peut se connecter qu'à quelques mètres du bureau de Luigi est difficile à gérer... J'ai une entreprise et je devais avoir accès à mes courriels... Le faire le soir sur une chaise dehors n'était pas la chose la plus agréable... sans oublier les 2 soirs de pluie où je n'ai pas pu travailler !!

Site, piscine, absolument magnifiques Avec 5mns de voiture et 25 de bus on est au cœur de Florence: coût 1.3E! Même si le confort n'est pas top, tout est clean et opérationnel L'accueil est très sympathique, pas intrusif du tout

Pas de zones d'ombre en dehors des abords de la piscine, donc les repas à l'ombre sont compromis.... La connexion net se fait autour de l'accueil seulement - mais ça permet de se consacrer à autre chose!

Excellent lieu pour visiter Florence, le chianti, aller à Pise voir Sienne. Le village est magnifique, très typique., très bien restauré.

Internet only works outside in front of the office.

Met families from other countries. Kids (13 and 16) have a wonderful time in the pool and playing games with new friends. Gorgeous views! We didn't have a car so it was a 1 mile walk into town.

Apartments were spacious and clean. Beautifully situated in the Hills of Tuscany. Great pool and views for days.

Wifi was only available outside the office.

Numerous families from different countries were staying at the same time. Our children age 13 and 16 meet other children and entertained themselves for hours in the pool and playing games. Great experience! We didn't have a car and walk about 20 minutes to the town to the grocery store and to catch a bus. The walk back is uphill. We were ok with this. Owners were very nice and spoke Adequate English. We really enjoyed our stay.

Très proche du centre de Florence et des autoroutes tout en alliant les avantages de la campagne toscane. Chaque maison possède sa propre terrasse sans géner les voisins.

attention, ce n'est pas un agriturismo (comme beaucoup de séjours proposés sur le site) mais une résidence de vacances fort sympathique

“Beau séjour - cadre exceptionnel aux portes de Florence”

Belles chambres, bonne literie, air conditionné, facilité d'accès à Florence avec le bus local, gentillesse et courtoisie du dirigeant. Belle piscine à débordement avec vue sur les collines toscanes.

Le petit déjeuner laisse à désirer et les moustiques dans cette partie de toscane sont assez virulent. Il convient de bien s'y préparer.

Nous souhaitions un relais pour accéder rapidement à Florence tout en étant à la campagne. Nous avons trouvé avec Firenze 2598 la solution parfaite. La piscine était bien agréable pour se délasser après de chaudes journées à visiter Sienne et Florence.

Spacious quarters, spectacular views, and friendly and attentive hosts. We were a 5-person family spanning three generations (teens, 50, and 70's). We had a 4/5-person for the entire stay and added a 2-person apartment for part of the time, but the 4/5-person apartment would have been plenty large enough given three single beds in a large room worked for us.

The water seemed to go hot and cold, but it was never cold enough or cold long enough to make me remember to check with Luigi about it.

Wish we had taken time to enjoy the pool, and to walk to town. Relaxing at Firenze 2598 would have been nice; we used it almost exclusively as a launch pad for other travel.

We had a great stay at Firenze 2598. Luigi is very friendly and willing to answer your questions. Swimming pool is great. The other visitors were from everywhere in Europe. The mix of nationalities was very nice. It is only 10 km away from Florence which makes it possible to visit this beautiful place several times during your stay.... We will be back

Nothing negative to say... Just one remark... Don't expect an agriturismo with animals and other agricultural activities but that's not the case...

As you are not far from Florence you can visit the city several times. We went one evening which we can recommend. Most tourists have gone and there is a very relaxed atmosphere... Buildings are beautifully lightened...

Bâtiments anciens rénovés avec goût. Excellente piscine Dicponibilité et gentillesse de l'accueil, notamment avec les enfants.

Proximité avec les autres locataires. Manque un four dans la cuisine.

Excellente situation du gîte pour visiter Florence et la magnifique campagne Toscane à condition d'avoir une voiture et suffisamment de temps... N'hèsitez pas à goüter le Chianti de la cantina locale qui est excellent (nous en avons rapporté une caisse entière).

Vue imprenable logement parfait, très propre

Impossibilité de se rendre facilement à Florence sans la voiture, la description sur le site est un peu erroné

ce logement est parfait pour une ou deux lorsque l'on veut se reposer tout en profitant de Florence et de sa région. Le site est très joli mais la voiture est indispensable !

beautiful setting. quiet. peaceful. 2 minutes to grassina. clean. bikes (not racing style) for rent. shop in town for food and cook at your place.

walking from town with a suitcase is not advised, but do-able. ~1 mile from bus stop.

I really loved my 8:00 a.m. swims in the outdoor pool. No one around except my friend and me.

There were none.

This place is only a short drive from incredible places like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, and the Chianti wine regions. What a great trip!

la tranquillité;le beau cadre ondulé et verdoyant ;le logement confortable;la vue sur les collines;l\'amabilité des personnels d\'accueil;l\'éloignement de la piscine nous garantissant la tranquillité

c\'est à l\'étage ,donc si on veut petit déjeuner dehors,il faut s\'organiser;mais c\'est surmontable
