I can imagine it can get really crowded in the summer, since it has a pool, but we were lucky to have great weather and not too many people. The staff is really nice.

It's impossible to get phone service, at least it was for us. Unexpectedly, you can hear almost every word from other guests in other rooms.

Accueil très agréable, personnel très courtois et mettant tout en oeuvre pour assurer le meilleur séjour possible. Locaux spacieux et propres. Cadre très agréable et situation géographique idéale pour visiter les villes et villages de Toscane.

Les moustiques, mais les propriétaires n'y peuvent rien pour l'extérieur (Chambre et salle d'eau équipées de moustiquaires).

“Tutto perfetto!”

Dopo il periodo di lockdown, abbiamo goduto di 4 giorni di relax, immersi nella natura ..bimbe stra felici in piscina, serate sotto il patio..siamo stati divinamente bene! Ottimi i consigli sui ristoranti , borghi bellissimi da vedere e paesaggi che ti lasciano senza parole, una parte di Toscana stupenda!

“Una vera vacanza”

Siamo stati benissimo. Location molto bella, attrezzata e personale gentilissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

L'unico aspetto negativo è stata la rete wifi. Purtroppo il nostro gestore telefonico non aveva segnale e con il wifi che si interrompeva frequentemente, era quasi impossibile comunicare con la famiglia a Roma.

Laura was very nice and gave us some information about the region. The appartement was clean and comfy. The swimming pool was really welcome after visiting tuscany !rnThe location is convenient in general (1h from Florence, 1h30 from Siena, 40min from San Gemignano...)

Although the place was a fine stay, it is not An agriturismo as we imagined it. It’s more a holiday home than a farm and there are many families - not the best for couples in my opinion. There is no Tuscany view from the residence which is quite a shame considering the beauty of the environmentrnOur apartment really lacked some light.

“Great location, great facilitaties with great owners”

Easy to find, enough parking space, the appartment was very clean. Good size swimming pool. Location is very central for all the highlights in Tuscany. Owners are very Nice and sweet people. You can ask them anything.

The balcony was very small, difficult to dit outside. The WiFi connection in oud appartment was very poor (but hey we are on a holiday so who needs WiFi?)

Un grand besoin de rénovation, connexion internet utilisable uniquement à l’extérieur du logement, équipement de la cuisine rudimentaire, salle de bain dégradée, équipements communs spartiates, route bordant la propriété passagère, environnement canin très bruyant, pas d'accueil en Français contrairement à la description

Montaione est un point central pour découvrir la Toscane Centrale à mis chemin entre Florence, Pise et Sienne. ne manquez pas une journée à Lucca, charmante ville au calme de la foule touristique. Je vous recommande particulièrement deux adresses; Frantoio Sanminiatese à SERRA producteur d'huile d'olive et l'Osteria del Castagno à GAMBASSI TERME pour déguster une cuisine Toscane tout en saveur.

“Bel Endroit !”

A équidistance de Florence, Pisa, Sienne. Le Propriétaire a fait de l'accueil des gens une passion, c'est une personne vrai, les premiers pas de notre fille au bord de sa piscine lui ont mis la larme à l'oeil ! Il gratifie les vacanciers de petits riff de guitare, et n'hésite pas a partager les fruits mûrs de ses arbres !

Le coin est chouette, il y a beaucoup de choses a voir en dehors des principaux centres touristiques, notamment San geminiano est une petite ville très étonnante et très sympa. Je conseillerais aussi le restaurant que l'on apercoit sur le haut de Montaione depuis la route.

“Beautiful Location”

This was our first time in Tuscany, and we will be back. The Apartment was excellent. Laura welcomed us, and gave us lots of local information. The Pool was great and very welcoming on the very hot days we spent on site.

The mosquitoes are a real pain at night, which meant keeping the window shut at night. fly screens would help.

This is a great location for touring the area, The local restaurant just down the road and also the little shop are well worth a visit, it also does take away pizza

Accueil personnalisé de la part des propriétaires qui ont tout fait pour que nous passions un excellent séjour : conseils sur les visites, sur les habitudes du pays, etc. Et tout ça dans un français parfait (autres langues parlées par les propriétaires : anglais, espagnol, et allemand) Le logement était parfait : propre, spacieux, bien conçu, avec tout le nécessaire ds la cuisine et le linge de toilette fourni largement pour une famille de 4 personnes Le jardin était divinement entretenu et fleuri. Tout nous a plus du 1er au dernier jour : un grand merci à Laura, son papa, et Simone

Situation excellente entre les principales villes de la Toscane, endroit calme, acceuillant pour des familles avec enfants en bas âge, propriétaires discrets mais très serviables, athmosphère très cool

Sur une route, à côté d'un autre gite. Enormément de moustiques; moustiquaires indispensables mais absentes, le spray ne suffit pas. Trop de petits services payants (lavoir, le ventilateur est payant, la location des serviettes,...) Il aurait été plus élégant de payer un peu plus chèr mais de ne pas avoir l'impression de rajouter tout ces petits suppléments.

Super endroit avec des enfants, super bien situé, mais par rapport à d'autres fermes agricoles, celle-ci n'est pas en pleine nature, mais situé sur une route

“We enjoyed our stay at Montaione 206. Pool was very nice with deck chairs for all guests. Position was good, near the town of Montaione. Nearby towns had good supermarkets and shops. Well placed to go see towns in the area. We visited San Gimignano, ”

Room was comfortable but basic. The staff were very helpful and informative. Laundry facilities were offered as well as advice on things to do in the region. It was run by a fmaily, all working together to make our stay pleasant.

Main issue was that the wifi didnt travel very far. It was good tat wifi was available but in comparison to a lot of other places we have travelled in europe, the wifi wasnt as strong. Wifi did work, but the range of the wifi was too short and we are sure others would have benefitted form a wider range

Will need a car here. Check your satnav to see if you are being taken up through hill towns. Sometimes easier roads are available along the valley. Have a look a google.

Ruhig und Idyllisch,sehr nette Familie die einem bei allem hilft und Tipps gibt.Sehr gepflegte Anlage, man merkt das Guiseppe dies gerne macht. Ein schöner Pool um sich nach einem Kulturbesuch aus Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa etc.abzukühlen und zu erholen. Leckere Restaurants in der Umgebung.

Wir hatten dort kein Mobilnetz, selbst die Besitzer haben nur an einem Ort Mobilnetz. WLAN war mit unserem Tablet ganz gut nutzbar, auch auf unseren eigenen Terasse, jedoch wäre dies verbesserungsfähig.

“Friendly owners, pretty and relaxing location”

Super friendly owners made us feel very welcome. This agriturismo is in a great location to see all of northern Tuscany - about 45 to 60 minute drive to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, and Chianti and several smaller pretty towns within 30 minutes.

As others have commented, very limited Internet connection that's only available when sitting in front of the office. But we were happy for our teens not to have an easy Internet connection!

Fortalt hvor der var godt at spise, kigge på vinsmagning, kom med hovedpinepiller, Meget hjælpsomme og gode til engelsk.

Jeg troede at Agriturismo var et sted hvor man kunne spise og 40 % af fødevarerne var egen avl, hvilket ikke var tilfældet her. Men vi blev henvist til andre steder. Vil i bo godt billigt og sikkert er dette stedet men ingen oplevelser på det gastronomiske bortset fra det vi selv lavede i vores eget køkken.

Fantastisk sted at løbe hver morgen, inden solen fik for meget magt. Et godt sted at bo og tage udgang fra, ligger mellem Firenze, Pisa, Siena. Sankta Maria er et super sted, pænt og rent og hyggeligt italiensk stil. Det eneste der var et minus var at vi ikke kunne spise på stedet. Men der var masser af spisesteder i nærheden der var fantastiske og billige. kan kun anbefale Montaione 206

“Well located with an excellent host.”

Quiet. Nearby to many interesting attractions. The accomodations were quite nice.

No wireless in our rooms; had to go out by the office.

The property is very convenient to many attractions. Definitely explore the surrounding towns and villages.

Excellent accueil de Laura et de son papa. La maison est conforme à la description, c'est très sympatique d'avoir des terrasses pour les repas. La piscine est agréable. La ville n'est pas loin et de nombreux restaurants sont proches. Le jardin est agréable. C'est aussi très bien d'avoir accès facilement à la machine à laver.

Problème avec la douche parce qu'il ne faut pas être à plusieurs dans la maison pour la prendre en même temps (si non, pas d'eau du tout !!!). Pas de climatisation et des chiens qui crient toute la nuit chez les voisins ; De ce fait, c'est difficile de laisser les portes-fenêtres ouvertent la nuit pour laisser entrer un peu de fraicheur.

De quoi passer une semaine au calme, au bord d'une piscine. Un peu long pour se rendre dans Florence ou à Sienne, mais idéal pour San Giminiano, San Miniato, et d'autres jolis villages. De belles promenades à faire dans le Chianti (notamment à cheval). La piscine est conviviale et permet de lier de contacts avec les voisins. Ambiance très sympatique. Merci Pépé pour la soirée musicale !

appartment just a little short of seating but table and chairs outside were great.shower door was a bit rough looking in the bathroom .but not a big deal.

san miniato and volterra well worth a visit , the local restaurants recommended by the girls were generally good and the pizzaria down the road was excellent .laura was very attentive and had excellent language skills a friendly bunch.

Bien située, la résidence est très belle mais elle n'a rien du romantisme du ferme agricole.

Appartement du rez de chaussée très sombre. un prix fixé qui fait croire que l'on a un rabais sur les prix mais qui est au final, supérieur aux prix présentés sur le site, si bien que l'on croit que le ménage est compris et , en fait, on vous réclame, ensuite une somme importante pour le ménage en vous expliquant que les prix ont augmenté pendant la saison.....

Ne pas tenir compte de la soirée musicale mise en avant!!!!! Demander précisément le coût du restant dû pour éviter toute ambiguité et s'entendre dire que l'on a tout accepté

Résidence très bien située en Toscane , à partir de laquelle il est facile de rayonner sans faire trop de voiture . Très belle résidence bien équipée - piscine bien venue Laura est très à l'écoute et de bon conseil

Résidence composée de 10 gîtes donc le séjour dépend aussi des autres locataires : pour nous , la 1ère semaine fut très bien réussie grâce à des locataires sympas et discrets ; par contre , la seconde fut gâchée par l'occupation de 5 gîtes sur les 10 par un même groupe , pas vraiment discret ce qui a rompu le charme ( et encore pas à cause des enfants ) ; mais ceci peut arriver partout !

Florence par le train en partant de Castel Fiorentino ( évitez la voiture ) Sienne à voir , et à revoir absolument ! mais aussi Lucca, Pise, San Géminiano , Volterra , San Miniatto ... En deux semaines , c'est bien , je pense qu'en une semaine , cela doit être frustrant de ne pas pouvoir faire les "incontournables"

Les propriétaires, deux sœurs parlant très bien le français, sont adorables et elles vous conseillent avec beaucoup gentillesse pour vos sorties dans différentes visites culturelles et également pour les restaurants. Ne ratez pas les dégustations de TARTUFI dans les restaurants de coin; mais oui, vous étés dans la région des TRUFFES !!!

“Wonderful farmhouse in a wonderful location ”

The property is situated in a central yet quiet area. I think that this is the best advantage of all. So it was possible to visit alot of places it is very well kept and looking out of the windows is so relaxing. The owners were very nice offering us useful advice. Another positive aspect is the small restaurant/grocer down the road - the food is very good and it is very convenient especially after a day of sightseeing.

Accueil familial et trés sympatique. Stéphanie et Laura conjuguent serviabilité et amabilité. Leur papa nous gratifie même d'un petit concert une fois par semaine. Les appartements sont propres et le gîte bien entretenu avec une belle piscine. Les grandes villes de la région sont toutes accessibles en une heure de voiture.

“very pleasant relaxing family vacation in beautiful surroundings”

Run by very friendly and helpful family. Central Toscane location in countryside, calm surroundings and swimmingpool make for lazy days and fun for the kids. Good excursions for daytrips nearby.

It was really hot in July, bit difficult for kids and the area has mosquitos. Has nothing to do with the place or management, a next time we might pick a time just before or after summer.

The gardens are beautiful and maintained every morning by the father of the family. Nice service from the two daughters at reception. Near commodities and restaurant. Easy access to visits.

Apartments (one room, kitchen and bathroom) are a little bit small. No air condionning.

After the mandantory visits (San Gimiano, Firenze, Siena, Volterra, ...), take the time to get lost on the small roads around Montaione. Taste wine with Conti Antonio at Villa da Filicaja Estate or have a great diner at Casa Masi were the owner Luciana will greet you with her lovely smile.

El emplazamiento a poca distancia de todo, la amplitud del apartamento, lo bien cuidado del jardín, la piscina y el precio. Buenos sitios para comer cerca y un supermercado.

A veces no había nadie para resolver dudas, había poca o ninguna cobertura de móvil y que nos limpiaron el apartamento.

Es un buen lugar para pasar unas vacaciones en la Toscana y de los más asequibles. Hay cientos de sitios que ves cuando ya estás allí y que tienes que mirar con tiempo, porque se ven casas relamente increibles, aunque seguro que más caras.

“Owners were wonderful!”

A beautiful place to relax at and/or to go from for day trips to sightsee in the surrounding countryside. Easy commuting to most of the major sights in Tuscany. The owners are friendly and most helpful with any questions we had. They were always available without being intrusive. The grounds and buildings are well kept and the flowers and landscaping beautiful to behold in May.

This place is not right off any major highway but that is part of the charm of being in Tuscany. Driving through the Tuscany landscape was a wonderful experience since there were new vistas and villages and towns to see at almost every turn in the road.

Be sure to visit Maria Grazia's store/cafe/restaurant that is within a short walk of Montaione 206. The cappucino's were excellent, the pizzas and other food a delight, and of course the bread, wine, and cheese....!We are looking forward to our next visit...!

“Wonderful holiday retreat! We are a couple in their late forties traveling for the first time in Italy. We are coming back and bringing friends!!”

This place is just as described. We loved the location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend a visit!

Nothing negative but the bathroom facilities could have been a little cleaner or better still cleaning materials should be available

Coin calme et agréable. Très joie batisse en pierre, typique et près de grandes villes. Vous pouvez y aller à plusieurs avec des enfants ou des amis. Les appartements sont grands et bien aménagés, avec terrasse et piscine

Si vous y allez en plein été, il n'y a pas de climatisation, et malgré les murs épais, il ne faut pas craindre la chaleur.

n'hésitez pas à demander des conseil à la personne qui est à la réception pour les bons plans resto ou les coins à visiter. Elle se propose même d'appeler pour vous et de réserver si vous ne maîtrisez pas bien la langue.

“Beautifully maintained accommodation, new and clean but built in traditional style with very helpful owners on site every day but not living there”

Quality of accommodation, beautiful gardens and pools, close to excellent restaurants and only 5 minutes drive from a great supermarket. Only a short drive from beautiful hill tops towns and only 15 minutes drive to San Miniato where there is a fast train service to Florence.

All self catering, so no on-site bar or restaurant but there is a pizzeria less than 5 minutes walk away and a gormet restaurant about 10-15 minutes walk away.

The owners a father and two daughters were exceptionally helpful and made us feel most welcome by recommending and booking restuarants for us.

Great walks & views; Lovely local pub/cafe/shop & pizzeria for lunches 2 minutes walk; Great ristorante for dinners 10 minutes walk. For any guitarists on holiday papa likes to play guitar too.

we chose the one week in 2007 where it continually rained with thunder, lightening & hail stones.Can't blame resort for this.
