De boerderij is gelegen in Montecarlo, een typisch middeleeuws stadje in de heuvels van Lucca, tussen de provincies Lucca en Pistoia.

Wijnresort La Torre ligt verspreid over een oppervlakte van ongeveer 7 hectare en beschikt over: 10 kamers ingericht in moderne stijl, 10 appartementen in typisch Toscaanse stijl van 2 tot 7 bedden, 6 hectare beplant met wijnstokken, eigen kelder met productie van wijn en olie.

Gratis wifi. 18x8 meter buitenzwembad met zout en verwarmde whirlpooljacuzzi, solariumterras, speeltuin, proeverij en vergaderruimte. Gastronomisch restaurant met buitenterras en typisch menu.

Gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn de pittoreske dorpjes Garfagnana, de historische villa's van Lucca en het dorp Collodi met het beroemde Pinocchio-park, het Vlinderhuis en de Villa Garzoni met zijn prachtige Italiaanse tuin, Florence, Pisa, Montecatini Terme.

“Ce n’était qu’une étape sur notre périple, et y avons passé qu’une nuit, mais pour sûr, nous y reviendrons bientôt, et plus longuement. Leur vin est très bon. Tout est très propre. Le personnel est absolument adorable. Les logements sont bien agencés et la literie est bonne. Très bon restaurant, d’ailleurs fréquenté par des italiens qui viennent simplement y dîner pour des occasions. Goûtez absolument leur blanc Vermentino. C’est génial.”
