Gioconda und ihr Mitarbeiter waren super nett. Alles wat top!
Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich (sehr schmale Gasse kurz vor der Unterkunft). Man kann aber auch 200m davor parken und den Rest zu Fuß gehen.

Extrêmement charmant, très bien décoré, pleins de jeux pour les enfants. Région magnifique.
Seul point négatif, la piscine n'était pas ouverte. Vraiment dommage.

The pool and the view are very Nice
We had 2 apartments and both of them were very dirty The shows was broken only very hot water the owner told us that they would fix it but nothing happened The comfort of the beds is very bad they Should have been replaced a long time ago The kitchen wasnt complete and almost Unable to use refridgerator broken no tools available and very dirty Sorry for the negativety but these aspacts are easy to do better as owners

Jammer dat Barga in avond lastiger te bereiken is , omdat in accomodatie geen diner mogelijk is . Wel zelf koken.

“Agritourisme très calme, agréable, charmant”

Très bel endroit, dans les montagnes de Toscane, à 6km d'une petite ville où il y a tout. Possibilité de faire des randonnées dans la région qui est magnifique. Jonconda, la propriétaire est très sympa, se soucie que les gens soient bien, donne des conseils de visite et autres si on lui demande et reste très discrète. On reçoit le petit déjeuner le matin, ce qui est très confortable.
Pas grand chose de négatif, sauf peut-être qu'il faut une voiture pour y aller car c'est dans les montagnes. Les ustensiles de cuisines ne sont pas trop fonctionnels mais je pense que si on avait eu besoin de plus, il suffisait de le demander à Joconda.
Bonne découverte car mieux que ce que le site présente. Possibilité d'aller avec des amis car il y a plusieurs appartements indépendants.

Our stay at Barga was fantastic, we would love to come back. Gioconda is a great host and our children had a chance to play with her daughters. The house has amazing views and great Italian feeling to it. We loved the crazy ride to the house and you have to go up to get such spectacular views so for us it wasn't a disadventage.

“Séjour fantastique, sportif et sauvage”

Proximité des alpes apuanes et des sentiers de randos, de la grotte del vento. Florence est à 1h30 de route, idéal pour une petite journée. L'appartement est un peu vintage, mais très cosy, u milieu d'un petit village isolé, parfait pour se ressourcer !!!
En revanche, si vous n'avez pas de voiture, cela risque d'être un peu compliqué. Étant donné l'isolement du village. Randos à 30 min de route, supermarché à 10-15 min.
La propriétaire est d'une gentillesse incroyable. N'hésitez pas à lui demander des conseils sur les randos, les restos, les visites... Elle est aux petits soins... Et très arrangeante!

Secluded, nice view, very historic property with a lovely pool and excellent breakfast. 36 K to Lucca and nearby town of Barga is beautiful. Very enjoyable stay.
Up a narrow winding road (this is both a plus and a minus); lovely setting but hard to reach and road is challenging at night if you want to go into town for dinner, although our unit had a kitchenette to prepare meals. Washers and dryers broken when we visited.
Car is a must.

Giocconda est très accueillante, serviable et sociable. Nous avons énormément apprécié sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Notre studio était fonctionnel et propre, la piscine est superbe, tout comme la vue. Et le petit déjeuner est vraiement excellent et copieux. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, au calme, dans les montagnes Toscanes. Barga, la ville médiévale située à 15min est très mignonne, Lucca est magnifiaue, bref il y a de quoi faire dans la région.
Le studio un peu sombre.. mais c'est une vieille batisse et ce n'est pas dérangeant puisque nous pouvons déjeuner dehors sous les tonnelles prévues à cet effet.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our hostess, Giocanda was wonderful and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed as well as being old-world and enchanting. Breakfast was very good and was the only one during our month in Italy that included eggs! The whole place was beautiful with amazing views and very peaceful. The area is mountainous and lush. We wish we had been able to stay longer.

Pour les personnes qui aiment le calme, la beauté du paysage et les randonnées, Barga 551 est l' endroit parfait. Das Bergland verzaubert mit seiner schönen Natur. Die Herberge liegt wunderbar in einem kleinem Dorf, mit weitem Blick auf Bargas und weitere Bergtäler. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich, mit viel Charme eingerichtet aber auch praktisch ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, gibt tolle Tipps für Besuche in der Umgebung je nach Bedürfnis des Reisenden. Es war eine wunderschöne Woche. Neben Italienisch eignet sich Bargas übrigens auch zum Auffrischen der Englischkenntnisse, da sehr viele Besucher von der Insel stammen. Achtung: Wer Ruhe nicht mag, ist hier falsch. Bargas, die nächste Stadt und damit Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist 6 km entfernt. Und Autofahrer müssen bergfest sein. Die Tour ist sportlich.
Auf jeden Fall den hauseigenen Honig testen.

Giaconda, la gestionnaire du site est extrêmement active et sympathique. Repas gastronomique proposée et très réussi Petit déj super. Belle piscine et belle vue sur les collines.
Accès difficile en voiture mais cela est mentionné. Pas de gros 4X4 ou caravane !

Propreté du logement, propreté de la piscine et abords,accueil, jeux pour les enfants (ping pong, vélos...Barbecue sur place. Nombreux transats.Tables en extérieurs. Chambres communiquantes pour famille nombreuse. Petit déjeuner maison.
Attention à l'accès au site si vous avez un gros véhicule (type monospace) car route étroite et passages entre des habitations très étroits. Ca passe tout juste mais que du bonheur en découvrant le site et son panorama.
Nous y retournerons car le site est magnifique. Il faudrait des semaines pour pouvoir visiter tout les alentours. Les habitants du village sont très accueillants et discutent très facilement avec les vacanciers.

on a loué 3 appartements chez Gioconda à 3 familles et on est tous absolument unanimes: on a passé une semaine formidable dans une maison rénovée avec beaucoup de gout. La propriétaire, Gioconda est absolument adorable. C'est un endroit magnifique, la piscine parfaire, les vues somptueuses, les équiments (vélos, barbecue, terrasses, appartements, petit déjeuners: tout est super!)
rien du tout: tout etait parfait.
beaucoup de villages magnifiques aux alentours. visitez Lucca en fin de journée: il y a beaucoup moins de monde. la propriétaire est charmante et a de nombreuses brochures et donne des conseils judicieux. elle parle parfaitement anglais.

Sehr herzliche Gastgeberin mit Familie. Traumhaftes Anwesen mit herrlichem Blick auch aus dem Pool. Sehr ruhige Lage.
Falls irgendetwas fehlt: Gioconda fragen, sie kümmert sich. Wir waren mit Auto und Motorrad (auf Anhänger) unterwegs und konnten schöne Touren durch die Berge und bis zum Meer machen.

Accès difficile pour un véhicule large à mon avis impossible pour un camping car.Ne pas oublier de faire l'avitaillement à Barga avant de monter au gîte: la route est étroite et sinueuse . Eviter de revenir la nuit.
Ne pas hésiter à demander les produits de la maison ( vin ,miel..) mais ils sont offerts spontanément avec gentillesse .Adresse à conseiller sans réelle réserve .

A lovely home and well-tended complex including apartment with all facilities, a yard, a pool, places to relax and take in the amazing view!

Your host will recommend the best restaurants in the are and they are good. Hiking in the are is terrific and the mountain ride to Pietra Santa a must. Visit Lucca- a real surprise.

Giaconda (owner) was exceptionally nice and helpful. I just wish we had had more time to talk with her. Her English is good, though she said it is better in August than in April! Our room was very nice, more than adequate for our needs. I would have liked to have an opportunity to explore the farm, but it was a rainy time, so too muddy and wet.
The only negative part I can think of was not actually at the location, but getting to it. For people not used to driving their very narrow, winding roads up into the mountains, it can be pretty unnerving and even downright scary on occasion. The roads are 2-way, but in places definitely not two cars wide! The trip is worth it, however!
Giaconda will help you figure out what to see in the area and how to get there. We enjoyed day trips to Lucca, Pisa, and Vinci.

Its not in BArga, its about 8km away and on possible one of the worst raods in the world!!! The apartments have ver BASIC facilities, no microwave, no air con, no shutters on the windows, yes id oes have a cooker but all the heat setting have worn off the cooker. The rooms are tiny
I certainly wouldnt recommend the apartments, they are not in Barga, they miss sell it. The orad up to the town is simply crazy!!!! The araprmtments are very basic and not value for money. Certainly not for me again thank you

Dear Family Pellicci, I remain very surprised by your review and regretted about my farm. It seemed you were very happy! With me so many smiles, greetings and many thanks, but I think I was wrong ..... First point: My farm was built on 1770 and renovated fully specified from January 2003 until June 2004.Dear Family Pellicci years you were wrong (on my farm in 1980 was completely abandoned and left to ruin). Second point: Dear Family Pellicci Your observation is correct in saying that my Farm is not located in Barga, but 6 kilometres from Barga (and not kilometres 8), but as you can see in the voice portal 4tourist Description Position: the farmhouse offers apartments in the farmhouses of this delightful hill farm Which is Situated in the hilly village of Linden, near Lucca, have built up from Areas and Industrial Zones. The farmhouse: is Situated in the historical center of the town of Linden, Barga, 520 meters above sea level in the provinces of Lucca. Will take place the word Linden, Barga on the portal. Step Three: My farm has no air conditioning because it is a farm and not a hotel.Non need air conditioning for 3 hot days a year! Farm also means there is little impact on nature .Not shutters because we have maintained the original style of the house without shutters on windows. There are, however, the double curtains, yellow and lighter blue heavy that do not shine the light. Step four: If you had need of a microwave oven (in apartments only had the oven), you could ask me.In my kitchend there is one .I provided free of charge, many tokens of the washing machine (with the key to the laundry to wash evening and facilitated with children), high chairs, beds for kids, raised chairs, camp beds, bath tubs, two swimming pools for babies.You just ask ..... Step Five: The road is a road to reach the hill, you can not pretend that you do get the highway opposite the entrance. The road through the tiglio village is very close (200 meters), but I have also advised to park machine at the entrance of the village and to walk only 200 meters. Sixth point: The price .You all spent at my farm in three Euro 2050 for 3 appartments.You spent Euro 683 for apartment for one week, means EUR 98 for night for appartment . I have provided: apartment clean, light and water, bed linen, towels, pool towels, breakfast served at the table that included (fresh bread, jam, chocolate, honey, butter, briosches fresh, fresh pizza, eggs, omelette, cheese, ham, milk, coffee), swimming pool, changing rooms the swimming pool with hot shower, new umbrellas, deckchairs new ... I do not think a high price for mid-August. Dear Family Pellicci, Thank you for your contribution, however, that will help me to improve more in my work (for me because my farm is a work ....). Sfeer van het huis is authentiek. Het ligt in een klein dorpje met alleen een klein dorpsbarretje, verder geen voorzieningen. Voor boodschappen dient men naar een ander dop te gaan, maar prima voor de rust. Toegangsweg door het dorp smal, niet iedereen durfde het aan om met zijn auto naar beneden te rijden, maar wij vonden het te doen. Het uitzicht vanaf het zwembad en het terras is prachtig. Omgeving is heel mooi, heuvel- tot bergachtig, en prima voor wandelingen. Lui een dag bij het zwembad liggen kan ook uitstekend. Ontbijt is prima, zoveel als je wilt. Aardige eigenaresse, spreekt Italiaans en een klein beetje engels. Kortom uitstekende locatie voor een verblijf.
Inventaris voor wat betreft koken en eten was aan de weinige kant.
In het huis hangen diverse wandelroutes en deze zijn ook beschreven in een map in het halletje. In het halletje ook diverse boeken van de omgeving aanwezig. Eigenaresse is altijd bereid hier toelichting op te geven. Aan te raden dat als je zelf veel wilt koken, je wat extra bestek en/of keukengerei meeneemt. Het dorpje Barga met middeleeuws centrum is mooi. in dat centurm kun je bij het restaurantje 'Mordini' op het pallazo Mordini uitstekend eten.

Owners were helpfulin telling us of local events
There was not enough hot water and we were charged a very high rate for electricity.
The carnival at Viareggio was a highlight of the trip.

Du fait que nous recherchions un endroit calme, nous l'avons trpuvé et apprécié. beaucoup de possibilités de découvertes mais il faut bien se documenter car les indications sont parfois un tantinet fantaisistes. Je conseillerais la région à un ami mais pas particulièrement le gite dont j'ai disposé. Je n'ai pas vu les autres chez ce propriétaire. Il est donc possible que le confort soit meilleur.

Nem voltak negatívumok.
Nyugodtan kérj segítséget, Gioconda asszonytól, bárhová szeretnél kirándulni. Nekünk például telefonon megkérdezte a hajómenetrendet Elbára. Csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek ezt a szálláshelyet, és remélem mi is visszatérünk még!

Beatiful area with peace and quiet lovely views a nice pool and exceedingly helpful Owner who visits daily and personally serves breakfast etc.
The acess road takes a little getting used to and it is a 10 minute drive into Barga for eating out and shops.
Take care and be patient on the local roads which are narrow and twisting, speak to Giaconda for local advice and assistance with absolutely anything, she ia a gem of a landlady

$NomeStruttura is situated on the edge of a small community, so not totally isolated. There is a little bar, with a friendly owner, within a couple of minutes walk from the property.
Breakfast could have been a bit more imaginative. Directions to property could have been clearer.
Ideally situated for exploring the mountainous countryside of northern Tuscany, either by car or on foot. The pretty town of Barga is about 10 minutes downhill from $NomeStruttura and has a good selection of shops and restaurants.

The view and pool and accommodations were lovely, once we got in... it is isolated and the road in is extremely narrow.
We arrived late at night and it was all locked up!! We had no way to contact the owner. We had to go knock on the doors of neighbors to get help. No one knew the owner but we finally found her. She came up and let us in to a very lovely but very cold agricole. We decided not to stay the rest of the time because it was so isolated. It would have been very nice for a vacation if one did not want to see other places during the day.
Be prepared for a very narrow entry road... and enjoy the wonderful food at the restaurant back down in town.

Swimming pool and grounds are immaculate and lovely flowers all well maintained
Gioconda is absolutely lovely & our only advice is that the breakfast should be expanded to include cold meats / bread and fruit. She used to do lovely crepes.

Our children so enjoyed having a pool almost to themselves every day. We enbjoyed sharing lunch with the other guests from Canada and Switzerland. Thw owners were so kind and friendly - they treated us as part of the family. This would be a very special place to visit in May or September to really enjoy walking in the montains and woods.
Access by car to the accommodation could be difficult for an inexperienced driver.
Check out when special festivals are on in Barga.

Beutiful views, peace and quiet, amazing local food, lovely people.
Perhaps the distance from the town Barga - but it wasn't too much of a problem.
Don't forget to sample the local honey - delicious!
