Prachtige locatie, ruime appartement voorzien van alle gemakken en natuurlijk Franco en zijn vrouw die ten alle tijden beschikbaar zijn om te helpen. Of het nu gaat om de mooiste plekjes of waar je het beste kunt parkeren in de steden, Franco legt het je graag uit!

“Magnifique séjour”

L’accueil est parfait! Nous avons reçu des conseils et des bons plans pour notre séjour en Toscane. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, disponibles et discrets. L’appartement était très propre, grand et très bien agencé. Nous avions tout se qu’il fallait. Les extérieurs sont géniaux! Les autres logements étaient occupés, mais nous avions le sentiment d’être les seuls tant il y a d’espace. La propriété est au calme, l’idéal pour déconnecter et se ressourcer. Un petit restaurant délicieux et sympathique se trouve de l’autre côté de la rue. Nous ne pouvons que recommander le lieu!

Eau froide à l’évier de la cuisine. Faire la vaisselle des 1-2 petites choses du déjeuner pouvait éviter de faire tourner le lave-vaisselle. Mais c’est vraiment qu’un détail.

El complejo tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días estupendos en la toscana, y los apartamentos son amplios y muy bien dotados. Levantarte tranquilamente, ver el amanecer, escuchar los pajaritos...

Quizás la cocina sea algo incómoda, faltaría luz y no está muy bien distribuida pero desde luego no es un problema para pasar unos días aquí

Verificamos lo que informaste y tanto la televisión como la tostadora están funcionando; si tuviera problemas con su funcionamiento o cualquier otra cosa podría informarlo durante su estancia, una persona está disponible todo el día en la recepción y fuera del horario de apertura vivimos en la propiedad; la sartén no es vieja, tiene algunos pequeños rasguños pero irrelevantes para cocinar; no es posible poner un sofá de mayores dimensiones. Perdón por la traducción, tal vez no sea correcta, pero usamos el traductor. Saludos Silvia e Franco

“Beautiful location for a quiet stay”

Wonderful view of Tuscany from the poolside, especially in the evening. The communal sitting and eating areas were plentiful and the Borgo never felt too full. Sylvia and Franco were always busy and helpful making sure everything was ok. They seemed very relaxed, which was reassuring.

Our apartment had no terrace (some do, some don't), we knew this in advance, but there is a fair distance from the apartment to the tables and chairs with a view. However, once we were outside none of this really mattered.

Toll gelegener Pool mit sehr vielen Liegemöglichkeiten im Schatten. Liebevoll angelegter Garten. Wunderbare Aussicht. Saubere Wohnung mit sehr effizienter Klimaanlage. Mehrere Grillmöglichkeiten. Sehr ruhige Lage, aber Restaurant auf der anderen Straßenseite und kleiner Supermarkt einige Autominuten entfernt.

The proeprty is a beautiful and calm place. Everything is kept well and Franco is a really nice and helpful host. There is a really nice pool and the view is breathtaking. It is perfectly placed in the heart of Chianti in Tuscany with charming villages, wine fields and olive trees. We would like to get back to this beautiful place.

It could be nice with a little more equipment in the kitchen (more plates, glasses, spoons, knifes, forks and a tray to bring your food to the terrace).

We had a very lovely 5 nigths in June 2022. It was everything we could’ve dreamed of in a Tuscany holiday. The grounds/buildings/facilities were excellent and created a very relaxing environment. Franco and Sylvia were the perfect hosts, giving us recommendations (even where to find parking in the various cities!) and making many reservations for us. The restaurant across the road is a wonderful advantage. The views are Tuscany at its best. We hope to be back soon!

There is nothing negative to say about our experience!

“Fantastische plek”

Wij hebben een ronduit heerlijk verblijf gehad met onze dochter van 1,5 jaar. De accommodatie en privé terras was erg fijn en het uitzicht is echt subliem. Omdat het zo fijn was hadden weinig reden om te verlaten, temeer omdat er aan de overkant van de weg een heel charmant en lekker restaurantje is. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf en hopen terug te komen.

Nous n'avons séjourné que 4 nuits mais nous aurions dû y séjourner une semaine car ce gîte est un bon point de départ pour visiter Pise, San Gimignano, Sienne, Florence, etc. L'accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux et efficace avec une gentille attention (bouteille de vin de la région). L'appartement était agréable et le jardin et l'espace piscine fleuris et bien entretenus avec une belle vue sur la campagne toscane. Nous ne les avons pas utilisés mais le gîte dispose aussi d'une machine à laver, d'espaces de jeux, de barbecue. Bref, un très bel endroit au calme après une journée de visite....

Il n'y a pas d'aspects négatifs à proprement parlé mais nous avons juste regretté de ne pas être dans un appartement en rez-de-chaussée qui nous aurait permit de prendre le petit-déjeuner et le dîner sur les petites tables dehors. Si nous devions revenir, ce serait une condition importante pour nous.

Excellent location to visit the Chianti area. A variety of units with good kitchens fit different types of travellers (we stayed earlier with kids). “Charming Tuscan Apartments in Stunning Hillside Setting”

The apartment we stayed in had three double bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom and TV. One of the rooms also had a second smaller bed. The proeprty had so many fun things to do. Among other things, there was a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan hills, a ping-pong table, BBQ pits for guests' use, and bicycles for rent. But the best part of our stay here -- as well as our entire stay in Italiy! -- was the private onsite cooking class that the hosts arranged for us with a Tuscan chef who is well-known in the areas around Florence. There is also a nice restaurant onsite, which is convenient if you don't want to travel to eat out. The hosts were gracious and accommodating for all of our needs and questions. Free parking is included in the price.

I really can't think of any negatives about this place. We would definitely come here again.

Very nice and helpful owners, English speaking, beautifull surroundings, dishwasher, use of washing machine, swimming pool, enough chairs to sit at the pool, everything clean, big enough and nice looking appartment, use of bbq possible, restaurant very near by . Really everything had been thought of.

Very confortable and well maintained place. One of the best accomodations I ever been too. The room is just like in the photo' s and the rest of the facilities are even better than what it looks like. Owners are very attentive and helpful. I would love to return there again in the future.

Tout était très bien et le gîte très bien tenu. Bien que le gîte se compose de plusieurs appartements, nous avons vraiment ressenti une grande intimité dans le nôtre. La piscine étai très agréable avec une vue sur le paysage magnifique. La propreté du gîte était exemplaire et les propriétaires très disponibles. Sans qu'il n'y ait rien de superflu, le gîte est équipe de toutes les commodités nécessaires. Infrastructures aussi prévues pour les enfants. Idéal pour des vacances en famille.

Our self-catering apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The various bbqs on the property also provided options although we didn't use them. Instead, we took advantage of the little osteria across the road that had everything - good food, friendly staff and various semi-adopted animals, including a fox named Michael J Fox that appeared every dinner time without fail. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Great pool! The owners took care of cleaning the tables and sunbeds regularly. Shaded parking also available.

I like the the concept of this house: together and still privacy when wanted or needed. The owner is there whenever you need advise. The accommodation is not luxurious but very efficient. All needs (washing, swimming, indoor sports, ...) can be met. All necessary appliances are at hand. All rooms are clean and tidy. The owner and his wife are very friendly and inviting.

The nearest grocery shop is down the hill, a quarter of an hour drive.

We verbleven in een heerlijk appartement op de begane grond. Het was van alles voorzien en mooi ingericht. Het zwembad, de speelruimte, het buitenmeubilair; het was allemaal top. De hulp van de eigenaren was buitengewoon, zonder opdringerig te worden. De omgeving is prachtig. We mochten de tesla aan een verlengsnoer opladen.

We had a beautiful stay. Silvia and her family were so lovely and welcoming. They booked tours for us and helped with questions about the area. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Very quiet at night. The common areas were always clean. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Definitely need a car as there is nothing else around. One restaurant across the street but it was the best food we had in Italy

L’accueil des hôtes, Sylvia nous a donné des recommandations quant aux endroits à visiter. C’est un endroit reposant, la vue est superbe sur les collines de la Toscane. La piscine est propre et bien positionnée. Beaucoup d’équipements, l’appartement est très propre, spacieux, confortable. On se sent chez soi, à l’aise de profiter des lieux. Les hôtes sont toujours à notre disposition sans être trop présents. Rapport qualité-prix parfait, je recommande!

Il manque un peu de vaisselle et d’équipements dans la cuisine mais on s’est bien organisés avec ce qu’il y a.

We offered an apartment for 4 guests, the apartments for 3 adults wasn’t available but the second night, when you were 2 people only, you paied like an apartment for 2 people instead an apartment for 4 people. Franco and his wife were exceptional hosts providing a warm welcome and taking time to provide informative tips to make the best of our stay. The pizza party was a delightful surprise that allowed guests to meet each other and the homemade pizza was delicious. The complex is lovely with good character and is very clean. We enjoyed dinners on the common area stone patio with outstanding views of the Chianti landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. This is one of the few places we stayed in Italy with screened windows - a real treat to keep the mosquitos out while you sleep.

What a find! A lovely place with the most amazing views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Franco and Silvia were so very helpful with useful advise on places to visit and where to park. They also helped us with booking wine tours and a cookery class.rnThe restaurant opposite was a big bonus and served delicious local dishes at a reasonable price. Our week was most enjoyable there.

Everything about our stay was positive. From the moment we arrived, Silvia greeted us warmly and provided personalized suggestions for our time in Tuscany. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen. The pool, game room, and other common areas were lovely and fit our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised by all the small touches, like coffee waiting for us in the kitchen, and complementary on-site laundry with detergent for our use. We highly recommend staying with Franco and Silvia!

Pictures online painted it a little different. Grounds were not kept very well. Grass needed to be mowed and old things were piled up in plain view.

die Lage der Anlage liegt exakt im Fadenkreuz des Chianti-Classico, zu allen wichtigen Stätten kurze Wege. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, ständig wird in Neues investiert- der Charme der alten Gebäude bleibt jedoch erhalten. Auch wenn die Anlage ausgebucht ist(ca. 30 Pers.) findet man auf der großen Fläche mit den vielen Terrassen und Grünflächen ein ruhiges und schattiges Plätzchen. Franco und Silvia sind ungemein liebevolle und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. über die Jahre ist zu unserer zweiten Heimat geworden - wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

The owners were really friendly and helpful. Apartment/farmhouse was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for the week. Fantastic to have meals on the patio over looking the countryside. Used the table tennis and table football daily. Pool was really clean (just a little cold, but it was late October!). Would highly recommend.

Not related to Borog Sicelle but the area, signs for vineyards can be far in advance of their location but generally worth the driver even if down 500m/1km long bumpy tracks!

From the moment we were greeted by Silvia and Franco to the minute we left, we were treated like royalty. They met all our requests and Silvia's directions and advice to visit nearby villages was exceptional. They are both so friendly and kind and did all they could to ensure we had a wonderful week at Borgo Sicelle. The accommodation was excellent...the entire place is very clean and well kept, but still has the rustic look of Tuscany. Thanks again Silvia and Franco for making our first trip to Italy so enjoyable!

Ask for help with anything and Silvia and Franco will gladly assist. We bought a famous Florentine Steak and Franco helped us barbecue it to perfection!

The place was good and simple. The best part was the view and the atmosphere. Franco gave us such a nice welcome and great tips for touring the area.

It's a great place to relax. We were there for only two nights, but I think more time would be nicer :) The kitchen in our apartment was very equipped, we had a wonderful time preparing our own dinner, so I would come with food supplies if that's what you intend to do.

Très bon accueil avec plein de bons conseils. Très belle piscine avec vue sur la vallée du Chianti

Séjour /cuisine un peu petits, qui poussent à profiter de l'extérieur.

Dégustation de vins chez Léo Ferré, bons plans à Florence pour les enfants, suivez les conseils des propriétaires!

Un accueil très sympathique avec des conseils pertinents pour nos visites, dans un environnement de grande beauté. Belle piscine entourée d'espaces naturels où chacun peut se détendre et profiter du calme, face à un paysage d'oliviers, de cyprès et de vignes. Tout est pensé pour le confort et les loisirs (barbecue, ping pong, bibliothèque, transats). Propreté et entretien des jardins et appartements parfaite.

idéalement situé entre Sienne , Florence et San Géminiano vous bénéficierez d'une très jolie vue sur la campagne Toscane . Les hôtes polyglottes ne manquerons pas de vous prodiguer les meilleurs conseils sur les manifestations locales , les restaurants , gélatérias etc....N'hésitez pas à les solliciter : ils prendront toujours le temps et de plus avec le sourire !

c'est notre deuxième séjour à Borgo Sicelle , si vous aimez le calme de la campagne tout en étant proche des grandes villes de Toscane , c'est dans ce lieu qu'il faut réserver vous ne le regretterez certainement pas !

Very friendly and helpful couple who provided lots of maps of places to visit.

Just a minor quibble, only one adaptor in the apartment which meant that you could not plug in the toaster at the same time as the kettle and so on.

Lovely restaurant across the road from the complex and the local village "San Donata" is well worth a visit with its stunning buildings and lovely restaurants.

Endroit sympa avec beaucoup de possibilité à l'intérieur.BBQ jeux salle commune piscine avec fauteuil, visite cave, etc... Propriétaire très sympathiques et parlant français.

Piscine très froide malgré le beau temps. hélas nous n'avons pas su y rentrer. Les enfants y sont entrée mais ont eu très froid par après. Vraiment dommage car le but 1er était de pouvoir s'y baigner. (panneaux solaire ;) )

Bons conseils et fiches bien complètes données par la propriétaire. Profitez demander dehors près de la piscine la vue et le coucher du soleil est magnifique.

Perfect location within the Chianti region, accessible to vineyards, villages, yet removed in your own oasis. All suites well appointed, easy to prepare breakfast & lunch and eat, overlooking amazing countryside. Perfect for families, too.

Franco and Sylvia couldn't have been more accommodating, and lovely. Wonderful right across street, filled with locals.
